A typical class starts with a warm-up, stretching and/or ballet basics depends on level, to prepare and condition body, improve strength and flexibility, follows by Chinese classical dance basics Shenyun (身韵) and techniques depends on level, then a portion of a performing dance depends on which level and could be completed by continuously attending the consequent classes.
Elementary classes are in introduction level, it suits those who have little or no dance experience, as well as who wanted to pick up dance from times ago and/or progress into next level. This class is designed to build up to performing level.
Intermediate and advanced classes are for those who have dance experience and wish to improve and challenge themselves in more difficult movements, rhythm and techniques of Chinese dances. This class is designed for performing level.
On 17th June 2019, Ms. Lijun Bi was filmed by the BBC1. She was featured of teaching Chinese classical dance in the London Chinese Community Centre (伦敦华人中心). The documentary is titled: A Very British History: The British Chinese.
It was broadcast on 3rd February 2020 on BBC1.
